Our headquarters, manufacturing facility, and primary distribution facility is located in Willmar, Minnesota with multiple regional distribution centers located throughout the U.S.
Northern Radiator is searching for an IT Intern to join our team located in Willmar, Minnesota. The IT intern will be responsible for assisting the IT Department with various projects and tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with upgrading operating systems and software on company computers and devices.
- Assist with the planning, deployment, and configuration of new hardware, including monitors, keyboards, and printers.
- Support the management and implementation of the IT security awareness programs and initiatives.
- Provide IT support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting employees with common technical needs including password resets, mapping printers and network drives, installing, updating, and uninstalling software, resolving internet connection issues, and clearing the cache on internet browsers.
- Help organize and maintain IT inventory, including hardware, software, and e-waste.
- Create and update IT documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in the inventory and mapping of network equipment, and support network maintenance tasks.
- Currently pursuing or have completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Teams is preferred but not required.
- Must have experience working with computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Work hours are available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate student schedules.
