Human Resources Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, program management, employee relations, and compliance with employment labor laws. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations - Administer employee benefits programs, including ICHRA, dental and life insurance, AFLAC, 401K Plan, - Handle all leave of absences for employees -Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees -Complete background studies for all new hires with Department of Human Services (DHS) and monitor and take immediate action based on the results of background study - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality - Conduct investigations into employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and compassionate manner
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters - Responsible for MN Unemployment Insurance program - Responsible for assuring EEOC and Affirmative Action compliance with the Department of Human Rights and responsible for completing required compliance reports
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes

Qualifications: Degree in HR or related field or an equivalent of 2 years of experience in the field

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of employment labor laws and regulations

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
